When I went looking for a stamp for my card this week, I was pleased to see I have accumulated several sets of Christmas silhouette stamps over the last year or so, which meant I had plenty to choose from - the only difficulty was deciding which one to use.
Finally, I settled on this lovely image of Santa and his reindeer flying across the sky which is from a set by Debbie Moore Designs.
The line of trees below was embossed straight onto the card front using one of the embossing folders bought as a set from Oh My Crafts several months ago. I do believe they are now available elsewhere so are no longer exclusive.
Adding some holographic embossing powder gives a touch of sparkle to some of the trees, which unfortunately isn't really showing in this photo.
Santa and the greeting, (from the same set of stamps), were stamped with black pigment ink and then cut with Oval Nestabilities before being treated to some holographic sparkle and matted onto a Scalloped Oval cut from black card given the same treatment.
Oh Yesssssssss ... we are sparkling good style!
The card should've been completed at this stage but I felt it needed something else ... and yes you've guessed ... MORE SPARKLE!
A leftover strip of black card was cut with scalloped edged trimmer blade and then embossed within an inch of it's life, before being folded in half and attached down the fold. Now I'm a happy bunny!

Wow Max the first entry and I love your Mint humbugs card! Thanks for playing along with WW.
Childhood memory- so many to choose but my favourite is the Christmas my sis Amy was 6 (she has Downs syndrome). At the christmas eve service she announced to everyone Father Christmas was bringing her a dolly and a new dolls pram. Father Christmas had not heard about the pram before and was really worried! Thankfully my mum remembered my old dolly pram in the loft - dad got it out cleaned it up, duraglit on the wheels to give it a "new" shine . Mum spent all night making new sheets and blankets for it and finally flopped into bed at 4-30am only for us all to wake at 5-30am wanting to see if Santa had been! Poor mum was absolutely shattered but the magic of Christmas was definately alive in our house that morning as Amy was so proud of her brand new dolly and revamped pram. She still talks of her dolly pram now and she is 32!
You cant beat that sort of magic! and its one of the reasons I love Christmas so much xx
Love your card Max. Very very effective and very kind of you to give folks the chance to win your spare set.

Really loely card, so different and just perfect for our challenge at WW. Thanks for playing and hope to see you back next Friday. Marianne x
How very kind of you, one of my favourite memories from Christmas time is when i was around 10, I was staying with my granny on Christmas eve to keep her company and we went to Midnight mass, when we came home i was allowed to open one pressie while we had supper before bed. We didn't have any Christmas stockings, we normally used my dad's footie socks... :-) anyhow Granny decided she had the very thing to use instead and hung a pair of tights over the back of the chair (i think if we'd put it on the fireplace they'd just have caused a fire... ) It's quite amazing just how many pressies you can fit in a pair of tights! My granny is not with us anymore but thinking of that particular christmas always makes me smile!
Hope you have a lovely day and well done on your beautiful card, good luck in the challenges!
hugs
Michelle

I just love silhouette cards and this fits perfectly with a mint humbug. Thanks for joining us this week at Winter Wonderland hope to see you back next week.
Fond child hood memory - my sister and I shared a bedroom. Xmas Eve we would be so excited that Santa was coming that we would keep each other awake. One year we were out of bed and we heard Santa(my dad - as we had already figured that bit out) getting near the door, and as my mum had made sure the toy box was empty ready for Santa's new delivery, both of us dived into the toy box (we must have made so much noise) anyway think my mum and dad knew we knew as he came in saying ho ho ho and had my mums red dressing gown on and we laughed so much (he knew we was in there) as he left the sacks at the end of the bed our new jewelery boxes all wrapped and wound up nicely started to play and another fit of laughter took hold of us.
Hugs Kate and thanks for the chance of winning good luck everyone xx
